Battlefied Bad Company 2 will be released to the public on March 2 in the USA the 4th in Euro countrys.
GAK is getting a server and it is already payed for for 3 months come and join us on March 2nd and do some KILLING

lol.. got a "special edition" coming the 3rd! (official release in holland is the 4th!)

but, been playing the LEAKED full game for a week now, the singleplayer is really damn nice!! (lotta missions)

Hopefully can get it installed later this week, bought a copy on Sunday on my lunch break.

have yet to install it.

But I have to get a laugh out of the Marketting their using on this release, to boost sales.

Limited Edition, as if there is any other versions out.

4 free unlocks, with a one time use code, but here's the kicker, the code Expires 12-31-2012, so if this is a limited edition, why an almost 3 year time frame to use the code?

and the other thing, 2 "Classic" weapons from Battlefield 1943 to use in BC2...

classic, WTF are they smoking, this is for the PC version, the PC has yet to see BF1943, they pushed it off for release, let alone public Beta, until after BC2.

if I'm a PC gamer only, then explain how their classics, and from a game that hasn't seen the light of Day on PC.

I just think its funny, yet in a pathetic way, how they have to market the game this time around.

chances are, in 6 months to a year, they'll release a patch that automatically enables the so called Unlocks for free to anyone who has bought or legally downloaded the game.

and you'll find standard versions on the shelf for $30-40.

in any case, can't wait to start playing this one.

but looking at getting a new mouse soon here, might buy the G500 on newegg tomorrow.

Dear Sir,
50% of our servers has been setup yesterday the rest will be installed very soon.
Please see EA's update:
So we have approval from EA to add more servers. However we are working with RSP's to make this work smoothly.
As such, only back ordered servers can be brought online at this point.
Only 50% of the server providers back orders can be put online tonight, the other 50% will be allowed to be started within the next 48 hours. This is to make sure the EA servers hold up to the new servers over night.

I can't wait for us to be able to play in our house. it'll be nice to not be kicked to make room for a paying customer.

sorry to ask, but does that mean the GAK BC2 server is not currently up and running?

I just got BC2 installed earlier this week, and was looking forward to playing the online portion later this week/weekend?

Sounds like its more of a hassle than getting and running a server for JO.

on a slightly related note, just for poops and giggles, I looked at my host, and their sold out on 16 player BC2 servers, only 32 player servers available from them ($30/month) All servers from them are Ranked.

I was looking at the servers yesterday afternoon, just to see what its costing to run one, and was shocked at how low the price actually was.

Bad Company 2 Server is UP ! can be found by doing a game search for GAK Gaming it only supports 16 players for now but that can change as demand requires to up the number of players
