IC is enlisting for Campaign 19, they are going to be using a new mod called Total IC. It is a cross between the IC mod and the ICE mod. At this time both armies are looking for people that simply love playing JO and would like to experience it in a structured manner.
Battledays are 9 hours long, note that does not mean you have to play that long or dedicate your life to the tourney, it is a laid back environment in which you can come and go when you like.
They will be checking in to answer questions that people may have.

MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm!!!!

I Smell a Firestorm Mod 2.x sometime later this year when this mod is released Very Happy

FINALLY AH-1 Cobra's, some new boat types (Ships with actual Main Guns looks awesome, would be nice to see a TDM with a Battleship Game theme to it LOL), etc... Shilka's from AW2 looks like too, new chopper types...



Looks nice, hopefully the vehicles are more polished than in ICE, I always felt most of those were nothing more that cardboard or plastic molded shells on top of a BTR, Stryker or some other vehicle. aside from sound effects and some other functions. especially when blown up, using one of those vehicles destroyed husks for it instead of its own.

also hoping the aiming sights and what not for aircraft are properly aligned and or let you aim easier on targets... take for example AW2, with its aircraft, can't see what your bombing or shooting half the time.

can't remember if aircraft in ICE were like that, but I remember something having aiming problems when ICE first came out.


overall looks nice.

just wish Nova would come out with the new game, SOON...

even with the new IC mod, JO is getting long in the tooth and needs a proper successor to re-energize the game franchise and community.

only so much that can be done with the aged JO/BHD/C4 game engine.

Should Also Add that anyone looking to play with them, they are also using TS3 now, not sure if its totally switched over, or their doing a trial like GAK is...

but this is from the other thread in here somewhere about it.

Nothing realy new lol.

If only they could made some new uniform skin
for each country ex: Canada I would be more
incline to play the mod.

Till then I'll stick with IC as it is.

You could maybe get onto their forums and suggest it, its only for the IC tournaments so far, and would go through several more iterations before being released as a regular Mod.

so there's still room for improvement.

Nuke.

A tracked personell carrier, has an external armory in the back. Good speed and modest steering for a track vehicle. Their is also 2 other variations of this vehicle. The M163 Vulcan and M901 TOW. Both are pretty much the same as the M113, but don't carry as many people.


Humvee.
The hummer or humvee, whichever you prefer to call it, has a new face. The back is now closed off, but at the loss of 2 seats, but with the gain of doors, I'd say it balances out. You have the standard .50 cal and MK-19 variants. But with the Total IC Mod, their is 2 new faces. The Avenger is a mobile SAM(Surface to Air Missile) platform. And the other variant has the TOW attached.


BRDM.
The BRDM is one of the few vehicles in the Total IC mod to not be tracked. It has 3 variants aswell. All of them are amphibious. The standard BRDM has a remote 14.5 mm machine gun on top and an external armory in the back. Their is also a SAM and TOW variant, those do not have external armories.


KA-27.
The Ka-27 is kind of like a linebacker. Slow and doesn't have the best turns, but packs one heck of a punch. Armed with Bombs, which most people refer to as JDAM's(Joint Direct Attack Munition), and also has Sidewinders. Their is also an armory in the back that is hard to access from the ground, but would make great for a sniper or mortar crew. The Ka-27 is mainly used in the destruction of the Battlehship Norm Nomadd, or Nomadd for short.


AH-1z Viper.
Also known as the Cobra. This small and skinny bird is super fast and has great maneuverability. It has 3 variants. The Hydra, Hellfire, and Sidewinder versions are all lethal, and pack a punch.


Mi-28N Havoc.
The Havoc is the somewhat like the Cobra, not slim and streamlined like the Cobra, but still fast and packs a punch. The Havoc as well has 3 variants. The Hydra, Hellfire, and Sidewinder.


Mi-24E Hind.
The Hind is not as much a transport bird, but more an attack bird. Armed with 32 Hydra rockets, this fast, yet fat bird is good for strafing a PSP or X-Ray, but don't count on coming around for a second strafe. This big bird makes easy prey for stingers and tank rounds and even AT4 and RPG rounds if it flies too low.


V-22 Osprey(aw-spree).
This lovely aircraft is by far, one of the best assets to be added to the Total IC Mod. With the, "HE GONE" speed of a UH-60 Blackhawk, and the rear open space of a Chinook, the V-22 Osprey is the new troop carrier for both armies. The Osprey makes it easier and faster to move vehicles around on the battlefield, and gives a whole new meaning to para-drop. No doubt, the V-22 Osprey will see alot of action.


Air Defense Patrol Boat.
Better known as the AA Boat, this boat looks like the Mark IV on steroids. With a protected Vulcan on the front, and 2 Mk-19's, one on each side, and a SAM platform in the rear, this boat is the ultimate boat for defending against enemy birds. It's very fast and maneuverable as well.


Battleship Norm Nomadd.
Better known as the Nomadd, this behemoth is the biggest mobile ship in the Total IC mod. With 2 150 mm guns(actually howitzers), one in the front, and one in the rear, and 1 100mm boat guns on each side, this is one monster you don't want to be near. This boat makes for great naval battles and can provide ground support for troops in the field with it's mammoth guns. Although it takes a great effort to sink this thing, one JDAM(bomb) from the Ka-27, and this boat is history.


Aircraft Carrier.
The biggest asset of this whole mod I believe, is the aircraft carrier. Although it's not movable, it makes up for that by having working elevators and a working FARP(Forward Arming Refueling Point). If the carrier happens to have a PSP that is able to be taken by the opposing army, no doubt in my mind their will be an absolute great close quarters battle on that ship.


Also in the Total IC Mod. Engineers now have the ability to carry an extra Stinger or AT4 as their Primary weapon, and with that, they also have a new secondary gun called the SR-3. A light gun that fires the 9mm round and only has a 20 round clip, it's not the best gun, but after all it is a secondary weapon. Medics also have the ability to carry thermite grenades.

So this looks like just some of the changes to IC with the new mod, I didn't see any reference to Weapons, uniforms etc, though that might of been posted in another section of the forums, but these additions do look and seem cool.
